Trip To Perth-13 May 2009

First stop for the day Kings Park...

From the name we've already knew that this is a park but from the name we wouldn't know that this park is HUGE. When i say HUGE i do really mean HUGE!!! instead of using our legs to move around the park as we usually do in Botanical Garden back in Penang, we moved around using the CAR  from one corner to another corner.

One of the corner in the park

The city view from the park

As an amateur driver, i knocked this boy that crosses the road. Lucky me he is still alive. LOL.

Random pose

One type of flower in the park that i love

Another city view from another corner of the park

Another corner

Me somewhere in the park

Anyway, we just managed to walk a quarter of the park. There is sort of canopy walk in the park as well but is built using the metals and is low. So, it is not that scary as the one i climbed in Pahang National Park. A nice and well-maintained park. If there is this type of park in Penang, it would definitely decrease my laziness and i would go jogging every day. Botanical Garden is not that bad after all just not that well-maintained as their park. Hehe. At least, there is a park here.

After a walk in the park, is time for lunch. Since we are stopping by Scarborough beach, we went to have our lunch nearby. A chinese restaurant is the option-Grandma's favourite.

The chinese restaurant at Scarborough

After that, is time to the second destination.

Second stop  SCARBOROUGH BEACH...

Isn't it amazing the beach?

Loving the beaches there. The part i misses the most after coming back.

After that, is time to go back to the city. On the way to Northbridge, my aunt checked from the map that we would be passing University of Western Australia. So, we decided to make a stop there but our GPS brought us to this part of UWA which is not the main campus. Stupid GPS!!!  Because of the GPS stupidity, we didn't managed to have a look at UWA *kek si wa*.

random picture i snapped on the way to Northbridge

and my aunt happened to stop her car in front of this shop. i didn't realized it until i want to snap pictures of the shops. LOL

William St.

We had our dinner at a nearby chinese restaurant. As it was grandma's favourite again. and is damn expensive to dine at chinese restaurant there. a bowl of wanton noodles cost us RM24 but the portion is large. but still is not worth it right. so, is better for you to take Vietnam, Korean or Japanese food there.

Before everyone is off to bed, we went to have our welcome drinks at the hotel.

Cheers for the day!!!
