i am back from Malacca this morning. the trip was GREAT. a new travelling experience for me. anyway, is time for me to continue the outdated Perth trip.
This second part of the day would be in
MANDURAH
the first stop there would be The Miami Bakehouse
we are here because my aunt googled about this bakehouse which is famous for it's pies. apart from that, this bakehouse is situated on the way from Rockingham to the place we are heading to. So, definitely a must stop place.
When i enter the bakehouse, i see
this and
this
and few more windows. this definitely makes my stomach growling.
anyway, back to the purpose of stopping by this shop. TO BUY THE PIES!!!
Pie 1: Chicken Pie
Pie 2: Pork Pie
Pie 3: Seafood Pie (i wasn't there when they ate that pie-no chance for a photo shoot. pity the pie) XD
Conclusion: All are AWESOME!!!
next we are heading to the LAKE CLIFTON situated at the Yalgorup National Park to see the THROMBOLITES. Left side to the thrombolites please.
After the 100m walk, we see this
.
.
.
What an amazing view!!! and a nice shoot from my brother
back to the thrombolites. so any idea of what it is? keep scrolling to have a look at it.
View 1
View 2
Both views are thrombolites that are in the different stage. So, what are thrombolites actually? They are actually 'living rocks' or also known as microbialites. They are formed by a variety of microorganisms. As the microorganisms photosynthesis, calcium carbonate is draw out of the lime-enriched lake water to form this rocklike material. Nature is just amazing. After having see the 'living rocks' is time for dinner.
