Trip To Taman Negara-31 May 2008 *Part I*

Us before the trekking

The second activity would be Jungle Trekking and is roughly 5km...
*Fainted*

Started our walk around 9.30am after having our breakfast... The whole journey took us about 4 hours... The longest trekking that i did so far... There are two different routes waiting for us...

One would be the one to Bukit Terisek and another one would be to the canopy walk... So, is like going up the first route then come down again and off to the next route... In order to get to Bukit Terisek, there is two stops... One is for you to rest before going up the steeper route...hehe... Another one would be the view of Sungai Tembeling from the top which they call 'First View'... After the first view stop, there is another 10 minutes walk to Bukit Terisek... Anyway, it is all worth it... The view is amazing... It would be perfect during sunrise or sunset...

After that, we are off to the second route that would lead us to the canopy walk... The canopy walk is the longest in the world but we got the chance to walk only for 300m-a semi circle.. In between the walk, there are 5 stops... We are not allowed to walk together but in a distance of 5m to 10m...

After the walk, back to our jungle trekking... Now, we have to take the Kuala Tahan route where our hotel is situated... It took us another half an hour...

My first experience:
1. 5km jungle trekking
2. walk along the canopy walk

Let the pictures speak here...

It will only turn blue when there is sunlight...

They use this leaves as sand paper...

Below are the pictures of the route to the first stop:
