The year 2011 is setting in few more days. Much have been accomplished this year. It is all about earning and losing every year. I will be starting the year with a brand new stage in life. A life that i am not been anticipated of but i do still need to go through it. Indeed there is no turning back in life. Once you missed it, only memories are left. Do cherish your life. Been very emotional these few days. In two more weeks, i will be parted with these gals. Gals that been with me for the last three and a half year. Especially three of the gals that i had gone through everything with. i know two of them since the first day i step into this jungle. I have been wanting to leave this jungle but when the time comes the feeling is unbearable.

No more giving surprise during birthdays in room. No more waiting each other and go for classes together. No more laughing at the nonsense acts of each other. No more going here and there just to find a lecturer's room. i will miss everything i had gone through here. Laughter and stress with you gals.

Agree with what my lecturer said today. All we have in the end would be memories from the pictures. Thank you all of you for being a part of my life in university. Here, I would like to wish all of you good luck in your future undertakings.

Last day of November and 39 days to go.

Complaining before the semester starts and now i am at the last month of my semester. Time flies. With three more presentations and an assignment to go then it would be the end of my degree life. Pretty much experience i had. People come and go but i made great friends here. Friends that i treasure a lot and not to be missed is HIM. They are the one that made my life here feels GREAT!

I would definitely spare the last three weeks to the max in KEDAH. It is time to really explore this place. Places on my list would be Pulau Bidan, Lye Huat Garden, Kota Kuala Kedah, Alor Setar, Dannok and Langkawi.

Hie November, Bye October...

November would be a month full of "event". The month kicks off with lil bro homecoming and convocation and will be ended with the accomplishment of Seminar in Transport Management project paper. i am currently having my two weeks mid-semester break. This break would be my last one in my university life. Definitely gonna miss all breaks here and there in university life. But, i don't get to enjoy the break fully as parts and partial of assignments and projects due along the break and a test coming right after the break. Last two weeks of November will be disastrous finishing up the project paper. That is a short introduction to mine not so good November month.

Regarding my previous post.

I made up my mind and got Canon 600D. As a beginner to DSLR, i still have a lot to catch up.

He brought me back to the first place we dated after 15 months at Jitra. Even though it is not a special or romantic place but this is the place we took our first picture together. Indeed a memorable place.

Going through 15 months is not easy. There are happiness and sadness but it takes us where we are today. It will not stop today. One stage by one stage we will go through together just like other blissful couples.

It's tickling way to fast.

Three months sounds very long but in less than two weeks three months holiday is coming to an end. August is saying goodbye in less than a week.

The feeling of sitting down whole day to get my resume mailed to the respective company makes me kind of scared. It is even scarier when there is no response from any. Sigh. I just have to stop being scared and do what i should do.

More challenges is ahead of after me birthday month. First birthday present would be my official residential hall for the past three years will change for the coming semester. Hopefully, it won't be far. XD *Some are meant to be kept away from here.* i just wish to survive through for the last four months as an undergrad student.

D+R+E+A+M is a word being used over and over in every person since the early days. During the schooling days, an essay on D+R+E+A+M is a common title. But do you actually know what is your D+R+E+A+M? Is it still the same compared to the ones you wrote in your essay? Dream of marrying a rich husband? Dream of becoming the richest person? Dream of living happily ever after?

Everyone has their own D+R+E+A+M. D+R+E+A+M to me is having a healthy life and being together with my family. i might be seen of wanting to be a successful person but deep inside i am not one. Getting fame is not me. i have this friend of mine saying that i will be a CEO in the future. who doesn't want to be one ha? But, i rather choose to be a normal person at least i have the time to work and to play at the same time.

What is the point of being a famous person but you don't get to spend much time with your family? Stepping to the university makes me realize how important family is. As, it is the first time being apart from them for weeks and months. They are the one that will be there for us no matter how bad or good a situation is. They are the one that would laugh and cry with us. Before this, i spent most of my free time with my friends going for makan and movies. But at this moment, i rather spent most of time at home. i do agree at times they are annoying with their rambling but look at their point of view. They are just worried. For three years being in the university, i got a call from my mum every night. Just a normal conversation such as what did you take for dinner and etc. But, without me realizing, i am used to the call and at that particular time. i am worried when my mum called later. Beauty of a call. Sometimes, when i am frustrated with university's stuff hearing their voice and support makes everything looks good. Sometimes, listening to what is going on at their side makes me excited as well thou i am unable to take part. There goes the importance of family.

The world is getting upside down now. Life is so unpredictable. i do not know when is my time but instead of thinking and worrying about my future which is unpredictable. i rather to choose to live my life to the fullest for the moment. Talking about life is kind of scary to me. At one moment a person can be laughing with you, but next moment you might never see him/her again. This is life. One path lead to another. i do believe karma. so be good. XD

i always dream to have a country home. a home by the lake. ( kind of hard to be accomplished)

Therefore, it is enough for me if all my family members can live under one roof and lead a healthy and happy life.

Three months holiday officially started a week ago.

Pretty bland for the past one week but plans started to kick off from Saturday.

Three months breaks basically consists of the following. Hotel stay at Golden Sands Resort last Saturday. Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides on Wednesday. Trip to Sarawak from 9th June till 12th June 2011. After all the fun, is time to go back to work. My working days scheduled to start on 15th June 2011 till mid-August. Hopefully able to do some domestic traveling-down south before the new semester. New and the last semester kicks off 10 September 2011. Movies and makans in between with the gals.

Lappy is dead at last. Just able to tumpang on my brother's laptop when he go for classes. Sigh. Life without lappy is bored.

the semester is coming to an end soon. four more nights to go.

this semester isn't the normal bye and hie again semester. ending of this semester means my friends who are pursuing a three years degree will no longer be here the next semester. the worst part most of them are my closest pals here.

this is one of the semester that i stayed the longest in the jungle during finals. seeing people leaving is unbearable even though i do not know them. yesterday was the worst when Mr Bf and me roomate when back. suddenly, i had the feeling of being left alone. luckily, i still have Miss Ooi May Wei.

two more papers to go.

24th May 2011 the date where we will be apart. wishing for the date to come but doesn't want it to happen. what a dilemma. will definitely miss you girls.

a long holiday is waiting for me but i hope it will be fully utilized with gatherings and gaining experiences.

It's time to bid farewell to each others but our friendship will remains till the end. Having each of you as a friend brightens up my university life. Even though our friendship is only as old as three years old but things we gone through-joy, sadness and all the problems make us seems as if we are old friends. We always wanted to leave this jungle life as soon as possible but when the time comes the reluctant feeling is here. It is not the feeling of missing studies but the feeling of being so close to friends. All of us are just a walk away from each other. That is the best part living under one roof.

I remembered we went all over to Bukit Kachi for dinner. That would be my first and last time step at Bukit Kachi (provided i will still remain in Petronas next semester). XD Then a CNY celebration which i will remember my whole life. i am really thankful for being invited. That is my first time celebrating with my friends this way. Thanks for all the memories.

A special thanks to Miss Ooi May Wei for always being there for me. Without you my university life will not be that fun anymore. Remember to treat me when you get your first pay.

Last batch assignments and presentations for the semester.

That's it and i am all done.

Just went through add/drop courses for the next semester this morning. The last and best add/drop i had so far. everything goes pretty smooth. Pray hard for the lecturers as well. Left with three more papers to go for my Bachelor Degree.

Gave myself a break on the 9th April and went over to Dannok with Mr. Bf and the gang for a very cheap but not so great steamboat. Dannok is just the border between Malaysia and Thailand. Discover another part of Thailand. It was fun thou walking around the area. Anyways, 7-11 my all-time favorite in Thailand. We went in all four of the 7-11 located there.

sneaking some time to do some write-ups besides TOWS analysis (looks easy but not at all). driving me crazy.

another earthquake at Indonesia today. i guess this time around is the best for us to spend our time with our family. even though, *touch wood* anything happens we are in together. XD no more traveling plans for the next few months.

My sixth and second last semester will end in three weeks time. Finals starts from 7th May till 24th May. Yet, i still have three assignments in hand and two presentations.

After finals, plus minus i will be having a three months break. it's time to expose myself to the reality of logistic industry which all i have is theories (some yet to be updated). hopefully, i managed to get a pocketful and handful of experience this break. *praying hard* everything goes well. Another task during the break would be internship hunting. *pray hard*

a three months long break but with a list long of things to attend to.

it might be long but without realizing again i am stepping into the last semester of my degree.

and i am scared. it's disaster hitting us soon? these few days it has been very windy and cloudy. it is a short period of time getting to see the sun. i really wished to be by my family side right now but time does not permit me to do so. disaster after disaster and how many lives has been taken? it is not just the disaster, people will be suffering from the post-disaster. i am seeing post after post after what had happened to Japan. Do you people really care or just for the sake of posting? Do you people meant what you say such as pray for the Japan or just for the sake of posting?

Tears

According to Dictionary.com, tears means fluid appearing in or flowing from the eye as the result of emotion. There are three types of tears which are basal tears, reflex tears and psychic tears (weeping or crying).

God made human with emotions. It's amazing that how tears flow from the eye just like that. It can be tears of happiness or tears of sadness.

I, personally felt the halt of tears once when i lose the emotions. Thinking back, do emotions really halt our tears? i am so used to crying while watching dramas and movies especially when it comes to the sad or touching parts but when i lose my emotions, the tears can't seem to flow from the eyes. That is the time when i am in a real disappointment and broken-hearted.

Finally, when i got back my emotions.

The tears seems to get back.

This makes me so curious.

Thought about it yesterday (thou it came back long ago) while i cried watching The Rippling Blossom.

i spent another V-Day with Mr Bf in the jungle. nothing special on that day. just usual dinner at the cafe with him. V-Day has never been special to me even till this very day. Of course, there is a reason behind it. I just don't understand do we show our love and affections only on this date? i understand this date is something like an anniversary thingy but it's just not me. Sorry. if we love someone shouldn't we shower them with love every day and give gifts to them whenever we feel we wanted to do so (when something remind us of them). just a point of view no offense. (already being shot by Mr Bf)

a person could talk and smile to you like he/she is leading a happily ever after life.

another person could come to you and rambles all his/her worries and unhappy stuffs.

but, the truth is only known by that particular individual.

therefore, don't judge a book by it's cover.

she seems happy but deeply who knows if she is experiencing a terrible time. she seems to be cocky but deeply who knows she is not. sometimes, even ourselves are unable to identify what is wrong with us but how do others do? there is various types of people around the world. people who is willing to sacrifice for love, people who is willing to sacrifice for money, people who is willing to give all out just to help people and people who is only willing to sacrifice only for their own good. which category are you in? i always believe this sentence "true colours will turn out when two people lives under the same roof". therefore, start to be close with someone before you jump into any conclusion. you won't lose by expanding your network instead you will get something from it.

sometimes, things are kept secret. things that supposed to be spoken to a particular person but is kept. my belief is no matter how good or bad the thing is we should let the person to know about the facts. it is more hurtful when he/she jumps into their own conclusion instead of the facts. why do people need to lie? i rather hear about bad things rather than you telling me lies.

we all have a story to tell-yours mine and the facts.

don't jump into conclusion and judge a book by its cover.

life has not been easy this semester even though it started a month ago plus minus the holiday. i can't seem to adapt to the life in the jungle. it gives me the feeling of being a semester one student struggling here. i have not been catching up with my assignments at the pace i used to have. how am i going to survive for another three and a half month? instead of planning which assignment to do i am planning on which week i could get back home.

i miss home. i miss everyone back at home. :(

my mood has been extreme hi and low lately. worst when it comes to this hour. wishing that there is someone that can accompany to chat but could not find any for the past few days. that's when i turned to you. a lot of things are running in my head and the worst i can't identify what is the real matter. everything seems to be in a blurry condition. i wanted to blurt it all out here but i can't. things that should be kept low and handle in another way. but when only can i have a good talk with you. when i want to talk you always left me here alone. but when i doesn't want to talk there you come. i am trying to be ignorant to control my temper and mood. but there is a limit to it. i do not know how long i can hold it.

until this very day. i still missed my form six life. where there is someone that i could talk too. maybe not one but two. but things are different now. sitting together with them is a lifetime experience. we laugh together, we curi tidur together, blur together and going through the tough papers together. i miss you gals.

i miss home. i miss my family and i definitely gonna miss you.

the day supposed to be spent with usual routine-movie and dinner but we ended up following my aunt to Taiping. this is the second time i am celebrating with him and we always ended up in different state. first time where we supposed to be in kedah but we ended up in penang. second time where we supposed to be in penang but we ended up in taiping. i wonder where to next year? XD

b) Grandma's 75th Birthday

stealing some time to update here.

everything was in a chaos for the past two weeks. after coming back from Hanoi, my life revolves around packing and unpacking until today. moving into a new home is nice but moving stuffs into a new home is not nice.

new home of mine is kind of secluded compared to the old one. Setia Pearl Island-kind of peaceful living neighbourhood far from the cities honks honks. XD something i missed the most would be Greenlane MCD which is just around the corner from the old home.

in less than two weeks i gonna start my new semester. tiring holiday i have but a good one.

1. Hanoi trip is pretty adventurous. consists all from sleeping in a hotel, train, Sapa's tribe home stay and a ship to trekking at a muddy muddy track and our shoes 100% covered with mud and first time traveling to a place so cold that i wore 4 to 5 layered of clothes. hopefully i have the time to blog about Hanoi's unforgettable trip.

2. the holiday that i spent most of my time with my family

3. holiday where i do not get to meet any friends so far. sigh.

counting the days. three more days.

time to go back to unpacking. adios.

something came in my mind yesterday. D-I-S-T-A-N-C-E...

i was once told long distance relationships hardly works. i am there and you are here. our lives are different. i guess i am being naive to agree to this sentence.

i was once worried that should i give it a try but i am not now.

i am lucky to have him as he never brings up this problem to me. instead he tries to work things out for me.

sometimes, the problem is not from DISTANCE. this word can be misuse as merely a reason. as a reason to reject. as a reason of not interested. as a reason to end it.

i am sure if you are really in love with the person, DISTANCE will never be a problem. Instead, you will try to work things out with him/her. either one party should give a step. but if both party are not willing to give then definitely this will not workout.

i guess time could prove you that DISTANCE ain't a problem but a reason.

Trip to Thailand-3 September 2010

to be exact Hatyai and Songkla.

this would be the first trip where i have nothing in mind before heading there and i don't have to plan for the schedule. pros and cons thou. and my first trip with mr bf. had fun to the fullest during the trip.

traveling mates 19 person in total consists of mr bf, mr bf's sarawak friends (majority) and mr.bf's penang friends.

First day of the trip.

upon reaching Dannok, Thailand

as planned we should be departing at 8am from the campus but due to 'Malaysian' attitude, the bus was late and we arrived at Hatyai around 12pm. as a result, it delayed our plans and the schedule went haywire.

Grand Plaza Hotel was our accommodation. nothing much to complain of with the price given.

a very strategic area with a lots of 7-eleven (a must visit place), makan-makan stalls, and shopping complexes.

our stomach started to growl upon reaching the hotel. we checked in and quickly run through the briefing and then we headed to MCD which is just beside our hotel. i'm lovin it.

after the lunch, we went our separate ways as it is

time given to us is still 4pm. but nothing much to buy here as we are waiting for the night market where we can get cheaper stuffs. therefore, we just walk around and get to know the place. after 4pm, is time to clean ourselves and next venue NIGHT MARKET...

only five of us headed to night market the first night around 6.30pm. we took tut-tut there. upon reaching, it is dinner time. bought snacks and the main course is fried chicken rice. (sushi is damn cheap there RM0.50 per piece)

bought two polo-tees RM10 each, two t-shirts RM7.50 each, a normal hair band RM1 and RM10 for three shorts. mr.bf bought pants.

i am actually back in Penang on Saturday and will be heading back to the jungle tomorrow morning.

actually there is no plan to come back. On sat morning i receive a text from aunt asking me whether is it possible for me to head back home. I AM!!! as one of the classes was cancel this morning and i don't have classes on Sunday. Then, in the evening, me grandma, mum and two aunt came to fetch me back. how bliss i am..XD then, we headed to Kuala Perlis for seafood before heading back to Penang.

on sun, we had our family reunion with my dad's relatives. Buffet lunch at Hard Rock Hotel and there is almost 30 of us. The lunch was not good at all. not much choices and not that nice. not recommended. My cousin from KL actually booked the one and only room in the hotel which is the KING SUITE worth RM3000 per night. Private carpark and swimming pool and jacuzzi with two bedrooms, a living room and kitchen. the room was alright but the service there is bad. sigh.

moving on to dinner, we supposed to have our second reunion around 20 of us at The Ship but the air-conditioner there is not working and they didn't even inform us when we called for reservation. how bad is this. we are not gonna suffocate ourselves there. relocate our dinner place to a seafood restaurant packed with people. the food was just alright.

where as for today, i enjoyed being at home. do what i used to do. enjoyed my grandma's home cooked food.

a great two days i had back here. two more weeks to settle all the assignments and hadyai here i come...

it took us few days and till the very moment to confirm whether to go out for dinner or movie and dinner today. we even argued because of this.

anyways, we have decided to go for a movie and dinner.

upon reaching there-Jitra Mall around 3, there is not much of movie to choose from except SALT which only shows at 4.50pm which is also the earliest but the time is kind of late as we prefer to go back earlier. we ended up taking the risk. no regret for making that decision as the movie is good...real good... Evelyn Salt is awesome... will be waiting for SALT 2... watch it if you have the chance... highly recommended for action pack people.

after the movie around 6.30, we rushed to Kampung Siam-the place he intended to bring me there as i love spicy food especially tomyam. nice place for thai food. it makes me think about my mum as she loves spicy food as well. XD

overall, i had a great 7 hours with him today even though he is kind of blur and not himself. i really enjoyed myself for the first time this semester. thank you dear for making my day.

as usual, i took part in an event again this semester.

CULTURAL NIGHT 2010

this event is gonna held on the 6th august 2010 at DMS. kind of rush and early event as we just started our semester three weeks ago. well, this time i am in the sponsorship department. nothing much to do as we need to find sponsor only so far. but something i realize, some people are just not doing their work. why do you take part when you do not have the responsibility to do it. isn't it too much and unfair to others? again it hits reality. that's what happen now. people are becoming parasite and like the famous phrase by the lecturers-spoon fed.

another thing makes me frustrated with this event, each of us (found the sponsorship) are given 5 tickets and the others (do not found any) are given 10 tickets to sell it out and two clothes each to sell. according to the top people, we are ought to buy it ourselves if we do not manage to sell any of it. how ridiculous is this? i take part in activities to learn things not to buy things that are unable to be sold to the people. if you do not have a big head please do not buy a big hat. it won't fit you.

how do you expect us to sell the tickets when the food and entertainment do not interest anyone?

practically i am back to the jungle for one and a half week already...

starting this semester is like starting my first semester (except for the papers) even though i am in sem 5...

why do i say so?

1. we have this brand new rules yesterday.

no shorts are allowed for male and female. no shorts are allowed except in our OWN room. how ridiculous is this? not even to the toilet and door-to-door visit just around the block. you don't expect the guys to wear shorts all the time and their shorts is not that short after all. indeed a 'culture shock'. XD

not only about the shorts, the malays practically need to wear their tudung even if they are in their own dorm. not to blame them but wearing it whole day isn't it too much. c'mon peeps the weather is so hot right here. sigh. wondering if we could score better if there's no shorts around?? hmm....

2. the 'best' food we took for the previous previous semester is no longer the same.

practically the first few days here, the 'masakan panas' stall are not there and there is nothing to eat except for the tomyam noodles. they are back for few days but the food no longer the same. anyways, that's what we can get here. another sigh.

3. we got brand new furnitures

nothing major to complain about the furniture except for minor ones such as the mattress are real hard and there is no mirror in the wardrobe. other than that, everything is fine.

4. another year comes and here i have another new roomate

so far, everything is good with her. she is not cocky she is not bossy. that's fine with me. XD

5. worst of all, would be the green bugs

they are attacking us every night leaving us darkness. sigh. and their bodies are all the hallway and toilet the next morning. it irritates me.

i am lucky to have him accompanying me and my mum's call everyday. i am really having a tough time here for the first few days here but it is getting better now. times here are even worst than semester one i would say. sigh.

hope to get home this week as i am taking an agent custom course which will be starting on the 30th July. the class is on every Fri and Sat from 8am till 5pm.

this leave me the only chance to get back home is during the mid-sem break.

as i wrote in the previous post, i went for a road trip to the East Coast from 20th till 23rd June. the trip was totally awesome. Five states-Kedah (just past through), Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang & Perak in 4 days. will blog about the trip when i get hold of the pictures but it will be few months later. XD my team mates were:

back from the trip on 24th June, i had my first gathering with my primary mates after 10 years. that was so long. Residensi Class of 2000. even though, not all turn up but it was a great. Thank you very much, Jeslyn Pang for all the effort in bringing all of us together.

on 25th June, he came to visit me again but he will be leaving soon for camp on the 5th July. heart him. 5 more days with him. thank you for accompanying me in and out for the past few days. it was tiring and exhausting.

10 more days with my family.

East coast trip has been confirmed on 20 June 2010 till 23 June 2010. Will be using the Gerik Highway. Gonna get ready my old camera for the view. Getting excited preparing the routes. XD

and it also means that i could attend the Residensi Primary Gathering on the 24th June. double joy.

apart from that, it is FWC season. Have fun watching the match. so far, i managed to watch only 2 matches live. the opening match and england v usa.

sigh. adventure is coming to an end real soon. is time to boast my energy for the next few weeks for the next semester. hopefully, it goes smoothly.

i've been missing again for the past two weeks.*smiles*

but it was an awesome one.

Firstly, i had a trip to Genting-20th May till 22nd May with the gals-Ranny, AiLing & BoonGin. it was a long unfulfilled trip-5 years ago. haha. at last, we managed to make it come true but something unpleasant happened during the trip. sigh. anyways, we had fun at the theme park and not to forget the Milo in the casino.

Secondly, would be him. *smiles* he came all the way to the north on 25th May and would be here till 3rd of July. two more days left. :( Quality times spent with him even though it is short but i treasure it. Thank you dear. and i almost scare u to death on the way to Monkey Beach ha? Sorry.

a lil update before i start with my weekends.

the angels did not managed to meet up on friday night as planned.

Saturday

my bro and i decided to bake a cake. butter cake in exact.

above is the result of our work. XD

physical it don't really look nice but according to the ones tasted it they say is not bad. we'll try to make improvement on the look thou.

in the evening, the angels meet up at last. in a rush thou.

Sunday

no more baking today. instead, we cooked spaghetti.

it was not that bad too. haha.

then, it would be Thomas Cup finals but i get bored at the third match of the first doubles even though it was a great match between those two pairs-full of suspense.

after the match, m & m with b4-ailing, ranny & boongin. we headed to winter warmers for dinner. still in love with their peach tea. XD

as, all of us watched most of the movies we decided to watch the movie below.

there goes my weekdays.

with two movies and two visits to Sushi King.

the rest of the time is just lazying around.

i am OFFICIALLY in PENANG now!!!

as usual the first day i am back here which is on the Friday , would be my rest day where i laze here and there.

Then Saturday, i went to see a semi-detached house by the sea with my aunt. magnificent view from the master bedroom but we don't really like the location. so, stick to Setia Pearl Island. Getting excited here. i am moving again soon.

we had our dinner at this place called 'The Sire' aka 'House of Yeap Chor Ee'. there is a reason why this place is chosen. it gives my grandma to reminiscence on her childhood memories as she used to stay there when she was a kid. she had fun there touring the place and telling us her stories. anyways, highly recommended as the food and the environment are awesome.

when you are not around, i am all by myself in the room-me, myself and i. without you, the room is so quiet. sigh. my one year senior roommate had just left this morning. definitely gonna miss her lots. wondering who would be my third roommate for the third year???

when the two closest to me person in UUM are not around with me, i feel so lonesome. adding to that, i was attacked by a cockroach, a lizard and insects in my room. i do not feel nice and i wanna leave this place ASAP! six more days to go.

When i thought,

when i thought that i am all alone in this world, i realize that i am wrong. no one would be alone in this world. is your choice to live alone or with a bunch of great people around you.

everyone will go through this-a period of loneliness, a period of not being satisfy and grateful with what we have and times when we do not appreciate things. a good example would be the weather. lately, as we all are concerned about the temperature of our earth is increasing and the weather is getting hot. we wish for it to rain. But, when it rains-raining cats and dogs outside, we wished for it to stop. that is human. we are never satisfied and we cannot be satisfied. when i was a teenager, i never realize the importance of family until i went to further my studies. even though, i am not far away from my hometown, but i am still apart from them. being apart let me realize how important they are to me and how lucky i am to have them. for instance my mum, she takes the effort to call me everyday since the first day i am apart from them. it doesn't have to be an hour talk, five minutes is enough. Five minutes are enough for her to know that i am fine and doing alright over there. it has been two years now and it still continues. in people's eyes, they might thought, "ohh god, how old are you? can't your mum just let you be independent and trust you?" that is not the question of being independent and trust, but is their care towards me. i believe that my mum trust and believe in me. what i could say is i am very very lucky to born in this family. a great mum and dad i have and not to forget my grandma and my little brother who ain't little anymore. being apart from that, brings us another step closer when we are together. it makes us believe how important each of us to one another. before i went for my studies, i hardly have much conversation with my brother which is kind of not normal since we are living under the same roof but we are not now. we talk about everything now. so, when i thought i was alone, i still have them.

friends are not all around us when we are born. we makes friends when we start to see the world, when we start to learn and when we start to gain experience. making friends is a dynamic process where it will never stop. the process begins in nursery, kindergarten, primary, high school, universities and up to our working life. people used to say friends in high school are the best. i, personally agree with that. this happens when you start to mix with a different group of people. for instance, myself. i start to realize how good are my penang mates when i am in university. not to say that i do not have friends there but friends that i could trust and count on. people there are so strange and scary to me. at one point, they can be so good with you and suddenly they changed into another person. worst of all, is friend that talks bad behind you. to me, friends i made there are just hi-hi and bye bye friends. no one i could actually count on except for my lao ee. they make friends with you to gain benefits and to use you. this is not the kind of relationship i want-not sincere. at one point of my life, i gave up on friends even my penang mates. i just want to be alone as i cannot trust anyone anymore. but, when i thought i was alone, i am wrong. i still have them. i am surprise to receive texts from my friends. that is not pity but i feel their concern towards me. this starts to build my confidence in relationship i have with them again. thank you, gals for dropping by. i am not to to seek attention but i am really disappointed at that moment.

another part that makes my life would be him. he are always there to advise me, to cheer me up and to listen to me. in other eyes, he is just an ordinary guy nothing so special about him. but to me, he is the right one. the one that care and love me for who i am. he didn't ask me to change but accept my weaknesses and bear with it. i did not regret for giving us a chance-a chance to see another side of him. before him, i fall in love with a guy. a guy that makes a lot of difference to my life in a short period of time. but, he went to further his studies. things do not work out and i admit i had a hard time during that period. then, came another one. the one that is still my best guy friend now. things do not work out between us is because we take each other as good friends and we do mean it. best wishes from me to both of you. to be with him is fate. i have gone through all this to be with him. if the time is turned back, my choice will still be YOU. i made the decision is because i have forgotten all about the previous memories. if not, i will never give us a chance. by that time, i will regret. when i thought i was alone, i have you. i am sorry for always making you worry. you can't even have a good night sleep and worry about me. for instance, last night and the next morning you have a paper. you told me you are off to bed but after that i receive your text worrying about me. i am sorry but i can tell you here, i am alright now. i heart you. i am bliss to have you. ♥ you.

just made myself a cup of old town's white coffee-my all-time favourite during the examination season. i've been watching dramas, fb and surfing the net while studying. in other words i did not pay full concentration on it. at this moment, is time for me to get serious, is time for me to concentrate. "two weeks to go and you will have your long long break."

so,

is time to turn on the study mode

and

switch off the playing mode.

it is all up to you to choose which one you want to be.

In the society, there are all types of people-kind, caring, loving, humble, nasty, selfish, arrogant and many more. You are not born with the traits but is YOU yourself chooses which one you want to be. Sometimes, these traits are not able to prolong in you. You tend to change-it might be for good or the other way round.

Something i would like to share here on what i had experience and what i see from others. here, i would like to apologize as it might be offensive.

One word to describe this first quarter year of mine-FULL OF DISAPPOINTMENT. i am totally disappointed with things happening and the people around me.

Firstly, i am really shocked when i realized a good friend of mine in the university, are not taking me as her friend. how could she say it in front of us that A & B are only her friends. Not only that, she started to change-telling me this but telling others the other stories, talking bad behind me and being self-centered.

Secondly, i receive texts from friends when i am in need. Ridiculous thinking back. Laughing at myself for being so stupid. i know friends are there for us when we are in need but that is not the way you could use me. i had enough of it and no more from me from now onwards. sometimes, not even a thank from them. i am not asking for any return but at least a thank to let me feel that my help is appreciated. i am not a 'know-all' girl. i learn and i see things. i will help if i could but please do not used me.

Thirdly, i just realized people around me are self-centered and selfish. i guess not just people around me but everyone in this world. why bother to care about others when they are not there for you. there is nothing wrong with sharing. Even more disappointed when he told me that his friends did not tell him the tips from the lecturer when he asked them. he did asked. halo people, why couldn't you guys just let him know about it. it will not cause you anything and the paper is korean language paper. every single one of you are new and not familiar with it. Something i asked myself, what is the point of having a friend?

Fourthly, totally disappointed when close friends are not able to spend not even an hour to keep in touch. How hurt it is when every time you asked there is no response to it or everyone just couldn't make it. Worst part, keep me wondering what happened there. That is part of the reason, i do not find you gals now. *sorry being so straight and offensive* i used to ask myself when i take the initiate to contact them, will they thought that i do not have anything to do therefore i ask them out. if any of you gals have this is mind. i can tell you that i am not. i just want to keep in touch with you gals. when there is no communication there goes the gap. i am sure you gals feel the gap now. i am like a stranger to my friend now or they are like stranger to me? i feel i do not know you gals anymore.

this would be the last post to end all my misery. what is on my mind all this while, has all been told in these three posts. i am not thinking any of it from now onwards. like i always said, 'WHAT WILL BE, WILL BE'. not putting any hope, not wishing much but just want to live my life to the fullest.

i am not blaming anyone for the things that happened. i myself do have my mistakes as well. i myself have changed as well. like i have said before things change. what goes around comes around. people have their own life now. people have their own group of friends now. things no longer stay the same anymore. maybe i have changed as well. i used to thought that i could count on my primary and high school mates but at this moment of my life to me the only people that i could count on would be my family members. i remember i used to text my friends when i am back in Penang but at one point it makes me feel so 'useless' that i stop doing so. i pretty much give up on it.

i have been thinking to write or not to write this. choosing to write this here is just to ease myself. it is kind of offensive but at least i felt better after writing here. sorry if it hurts any of you.

i am not HAPPY!!!

again, i feel the changes. i guess it changes for real this time. things will not be the same anymore. definitely gonna miss the good old times. hate people for being nonchalant, hate people that comes to you when they need you-actor and actresses. when you encounter a situation for the first time, you are still able to give and take but when it reaches your boundary, you will become numb and you would not care much anymore. when there is no effort in maintaining, is time to let go, is time to bid farewell.

i guess some of you are aware that i do not go online chat as often as i was before. not catching up with my close friends. do not even know what is their latest update anymore. people thought i changed and busy after being in a relationship. but you people are wrong after all. i am still the same wanted to catch up with friends and hangout for movies and drinks to update each other but not until i have this question popping out-why do i care so much, when people being so carefree? that's the reason for my disappearance. that's the reason why i do not organize gatherings. that's the reason why i do not text or call you gals for a drink or movie.

First Time

To most of us, taking the first step or doing something the first time is kind of awkward.

First time,

1. attending classes in university, we will worry who will be in the same class as us, who will be in the same group assignment and etc etc...

2. attending an event or party, we will feel shy and worry how to socialize with the people so called strangers to us.

3. taking part in some event, we will feel worry who are actually in the same department with us, do we have friends and etc etc.

4. and etc etc.....

i am always a shy person and i definitely feel awkward when i am around with strangers or even with my friends (not the close ones) as well. that is partly the reason why i am so quiet at times. is not i am being rude or stack up is just i do not know how to socialize. forgive me for that. anyways, back to the topic. i had another first time just now. attended the last session of the dharma class for this semester with him. i was kind of worried on the way there as it was my first time and i do not know people and things going on there. the weird thing is even though i do not understand much of the things going on that time, i enjoyed myself. i had fun laughing together with them, singing along with them and listening to their memories (which i totally have no idea). and i agree with him that people there are a lot better, friendlier and etc. i always wanted to attend this class in the beginning of this semester but i do not have the chance until today. i am grateful i did not miss the chance. i promise i will go for the class next semester if i have the time. (hopefully is not too late) a good first time i had just now.

An article i read and would like to share. From the title, i am sure all of you are aware of what i am sharing. Most of us did not realize how important and how much our parents have sacrifice for us until we are apart from them or when they are no longer around. When this happens, it is too late. So, take a chance grant them their wish when you still have the chance. They do not wish for something big or luxurious but for us to be a well-being person and happiness. To them, we are always their children no matter how old are us. So stop complaining about your parents mumbling and scolding at you sometimes. It is for your good, they live longer in this planet than you and as what the chinese proverb say " they eat more grains than you".

Venkatesh Balasubramaniam (who works for IIT) describes how his gesture of booking an air ticket for his father, his maiden flight, brought forth a rush of emotions and made him (Venkatesh) realize that how much we all take for granted when it comes to our parents.

My parents left for our native place on Thursday and we went to the airport to see them off. In fact, my father had never traveled by air before, so I just took this opportunity to make him experience the same. In spite of being asked to book tickets by train, I got them tickets on Jet Airways. The moment I handed over the tickets to him, he was surprised to see that I had booked them by air. The excitement was very apparent on his face, waiting for the time of travel. Just like a school boy, he was preparing himself on that day and we all went to the airport, right from using the trolley for his luggage, the baggage check-in and asking for a window seat and waiting restlessly for the security check-in to happen. He was thoroughly enjoying himself and I, too, was overcome with joy watching him experience all these things.

As they were about to go in for the security check-in, he walked up to me with tears in his eyes and thanked me. He became very emotional and it was not as if I had done something great but the fact that this meant a great deal to him. When he said thanks, I told him there was no need to thank me. But later, thinking about the entire incident, I looked back at my life. As a child, how many dreams our parents have made come true. Without understanding the financial situation, we ask for cricket bats, dresses, toys, outings, etc. Irrespective of their affordability, they have catered to all our needs. Did we ever think about the sacrifices they had to make to accommodate many of our wishes? Did we ever say thanks for all that they have done for us? Same way, today when it comes to our children, we always think that we should put them in a good school. Regardless of the amount of donation, we will ensure that we will have to give the child the best, theme parks, toys, etc. But we tend to forget that our parents have sacrificed a lot for our sake to see us happy, so it is our responsibility to ensure that their dreams are realized and what they failed to see when they were young. It is our responsibility to ensure that they experience all those and their life is complete.

Many times, when my parents had asked me some questions, I have actually answered back without patience. When my daughter asks me something, I have been very polite in answering. Now I realize how they would have felt at those moments. Let us realize that old age is a second childhood and just as we take care of our children, the same attention and same care needs to be given to our parents and elders. Rather than my dad saying thank you to me, I would want to say sorry for making him wait so long for this small dream. I do realize how much he has sacrificed for my sake and I will do my best to give the best possible attention to all their wishes.

Just because they are old does not mean that they will have to give up everything and keep sacrificing for their grandchildren also. They have wishes, too.

Take care of your parents. THEY ARE PRECIOUS.

the time that i do not like at all...

1. which is the ADD/DROP DAY!!!

every semester i have problem in adding and dropping for the following semester. is either there are not enough space or the time clashes or server down. it is even worst this semester as the day falls on my exam day. 8am add/drop. 9.30am business report writing exam. hopefully, everything will go smoothly this semester. pray hard.

2. the days when i do not study for the exam but watching drama the whole day...

this happen again today. i do not have any classes today but instead of studying for my business report writing, i watched drama the whole day. sigh. i need to catch up tonight. i need to have the determination. help me help me... XD

3. the days when i feel miserable here

i have been missing home lately even though i just went back last week. i guess due to the things i am facing here lately. i feel i do not have true friends here anymore. the earlier semester that i had gone through are full of obstacles which make me realize a lot of things this semester. people are so untrue here. my lifestyle here changed. no longer go hanging around in my friends room. i rather prefer to stay back in my room now. how do you feel when you take a friend as a friend but she do not take you as a friend. i am really very disappointed with her.

after having done with the toughest project assignment, i have been pretty free for the past two weeks but the days will not be long till my first exam for the finals on the 26 March 2009 and two assignments due next weeks.

result on the warehouse project assignment and our carry marks have been finalized. very happy with the result as our group got the highest marks. it was all worth it-spending days in the library and sleepless night. i am speechless when i was told of it. i just feel so happy and things that were done with heart could actually pays off. what we need to do is do our best and with heart. full attention and concentration.

apart from that, i have been spending more time with HIM. what i could say is that it brings us to another stage of our relationship. i am so grateful to have HIM. he accompanied me in the library, he accompanied me during the preparation of an event till 4am in the morning, he accompanied me to classes, he accompanied me to wait for buses, he waited for me when i have extra classes, he waited for me when i have group discussions or meetings, he accompanied me for lunches and dinners, he never let me to wait for him, he do not allowed me to walk back to the hostel alone and many more...... thanks dear for always being there for me. i feel so grateful to have you and i am appreciating every moment with you.

Melody Chuah called me up the other day. Happy for her as she finished her ACCA. CONGRATULATIONS my dearest SIS. is nice catching up with the gals at times. would be waiting for the day to catch up with them again-Cheng Ling, Jeslyn & Melody. even though, we are apart, we are still good friends. two years spending days at the jungles makes me realize that no matter what happens, they are still my best friends and no one could ever replace them. not only them, my Penang mates are still the best which consists of B4 and Bentengz.

i have been missing home lately. wanted to go back home since last week but my schedule are fully packed with seminars and assignments. planning to go back home this Thursday. hopefully, nothing will go wrong and since, his exam has been postponed, he will accompany me back. :) double happiness...

sneaking some time to update here.

wondering how i have been lately? i am doing fine. but assignments and projects are still lining up in front of me. giving myself a break tonight after all the late night sleeps for the past few days. gonna start working again tomorrow. some people might think it is ridiculous but that it is the truth. our warehouse group were in the library for 12 hours yesterday. sigh. i guess i was my first time doing so but it was all worth it. *i am bliss to have you to accompany me back from the library for dinner and the honey + mineral water* thank you very much.

i have more hectic schedules for the next two weeks with all the mid-semester exams (which i haven't start preparing yet), due dates to meet and the group discussions. Exams on the 1st Feb-Warehouse Management, 6th Feb-Operations Management & 8th Feb Business Accounting.

i'll guess this blog gonna be how it is now till my mid-semester break = chinese new year break...

i haven't been updating here lately due to some time restriction and partly because of my laziness.

it has been three weeks since i started my new semester. assignments are piling up since the first week. seven papers for this semester and up to this date i have seven assignments and projects in hand. in other words, one assignment for each paper. trying hard to work it out. hopefully, i'll managed to go through as i did for the second semester. apart from that, i only took part in one activity this semester which is not kind of a big event as compared to the Musical Food Carnival i took part last semester. lucky me. things have not been easy on me last week. i guess i can't get used to it yet. stress level was high and i was pretty moody for the past weeks. anyways, things are starting to get better now.

PS: i'll be going back to Penang this Saturday until Monday. one more day to go. XD

Instead of counting for Christmas and New Year, i am counting down for my days back to the jungle.
Feeling reluctant and excited at the same time.

Just got back for my kl shopping trip with Melody. We had an adventurous trip travelling from one shopping complex to another by public transports and our precious leg. We managed to cover Sungei Wang, Times Square, Sunway Piramid and One Utama in our 3 days 2 nights trip. Had a great experience. Next shopping stop would be Bangkok, Hong Kong or maybe Singapore. Hehe. We'll wait for another travelling mate for satay celup.

Monday

Rotting at home while waiting for my hangout partner to finish her exam and a roadtrip for food to Balik Pulau (check the previous post for the details)

Tuesday

We went for grocery shopping at the new Sunshine City at Times Square. Since, we are longing for the Old Town's toast, we went to the New World Park's Old Town to have a drink. Had an awesome time chit-chatting and discussed about our upcoming shopping trip to KL.

Wednesday

Went for a movie with the gals (Ai Ling, Boon Gin & Melody) as it was movie day. We watched Couples Retreat. A comedy type of movie. It started okay and towards the end it was kind of boring.

Thursday

Where there is new movies screening. Mel and i bought the ticket for Avatar 3D at 12pm on Wednesday night. My brother joined us. It was good but with the spectacles we were a bit dizzy after the movie as it was almost 3 hours. love the scene. it was great with all those extraordinary stuffs.

Friday

a public holiday today. Awal Muharram. nothing much happened. regular family outings.

second roadtrip round the island today.

my aunt is on leave today as it was her birthday yesterday. after getting my bro from tarc, we decided to go balik pulau for laksa. from batu feringghi to balik pulau, it took me almost an hour driving there. at least, it is worth with the scenic view especially the teluk bahang dam. on the way back, we stop by somewhere around penang hill for carrot cake and spring roll. the whole journey took us two hours. XD it was fun travel half of the island for food. no pictures as it was a last minute decision and camera was not brought along.

meet up with the gals (May Wei, Sue Ling & Thai Lin) at queensbay after having done with my part time job yesterday. we went for this movie (refer below), makan-makan and shopping. i got myself a shirt from Padini Authentics. ♥ it. hate the sales promoter for not doing her job. i was asking for the size and she insisted that they don't have. the second visit there, my friend went to search and she found it. was is this. this is not the correct job ethics.

bad story line. bad fighting scene. too much technology used in this movie. everything look so fake.

result was out yesterday before our movie starts. that's surprising as it is supposed to be today, 11 Dec 2009. managed to check it with my iphone. hehe. it wasn't that bad as i expected neither it was good. as a whole, i am still maintaining my result. no drastic changes for the last three semesters. work hard for the coming semesters. in two weeks time, i am starting my fourth semester.

i am so into char koay teow for the past two days. three plates of it in two days. i know i shouldn't but it is so tempting and i couldn't stop myself. hehe. penang is just food paradise. how can someone ever stop themselves from eating. that's why i am starting to grow wider instead of taller. sigh. not a goood one.

this holiday of mine is so plain and dull. this is just so not me. i need to have a getaway from penang for just a couple of days. even not getting out from penang, i hardly get out from my home besides being my bro's driver. what happened to you gal? i'll remain as it is till my new semester begins. i guess i am too tired of everything. not in the christmas's mood neither do new year's mood. i just wanna get my ass back to the jungle and starts my new semester. arghhh. something is so damn wrong.

sometimes, i wonder who really wants to hang out with you and who just needs you as their transportation. time will prove it to me. XD

as i grew older, my life is becoming more and more real.

i know more.

pretentious people is all around us. just need to be clever when you are mixing around. and what comes around will goes around as time passes by.

i guess it is a good experience mixing with people all over the places. this trip back i realize some changes again. every minute, every hour and every day things change even the closest person to you. just need to learn how to adapt to the changes but not mourn over the changes if it is towards the negative side.
